Update on Just Go Haiti Trips

Despite ongoing challenges in Haiti, including political unrest and natural disasters, our dedication to serving Emmanuel Children’s Village and the surrounding communities remains strong.

While mission trips are currently on hold, our Haitian partners continue the vital work of ministry every day. We remain hopeful, trusting in God’s timing and provision. As we look ahead to 2025 and beyond, we pray for stability and the opportunity to once again serve in person, alongside our Haitian brothers and sisters.

They will celebrate birthdays and the beach with the children and simply enjoy being together! is it safe? +

It is impossible to guarantee safety even between your house and WalMart, but every effort is made to ensure the safety of our teams. All team members are registered with the US Embassy in Port au Prince, Haiti and follow closely for any alerts from them. We are met and escorted the whole time by representatives of ESMI including translators, guides and security detail for the teams while in Haiti. Teams fly into Port au Prince and immediately back out to Jeremie. The compound in Jeremie where we stay is a gated community manned by a guard. Teams stay in a primarily rural area with very friendly people. If our trusted partner in Haiti, Pastor Dony St. Germain, is concerned about the situation on the ground in Haiti, we cancel the trip.

The age limit for Just Go Haiti Trips is 18 for teenagers traveling without a parent and 12 for children traveling with a parent. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.

Yes, you will need a current passport that does not expire within seven months of travel. We will need a copy of your passport - team leaders take these with them on the trip.
